Michelle,
I am so sorry to hear about Mort's passing. I remember going to quite a few shows with him back in the day and going to see Max Creek....wow, did we have fun. He was a great person inside and out, I had not seen him in about a year and he did not look any different than years before. The best time that I ever had with him was when we went to see the Dead & Little Feat

Dear Michele,
I was so very sorry to hear that your dear brother, Michael, had passed. I know how difficult this has been for you, Michele. A sudden loss of a dearly loved family member is always a shock. Please know that the grief and tears will fade with time, but Michael's spirit will always be with you. If I can help you in any way, please let me know.
Love,

With a tear in my eye and a broken heart I can honestly say I have been left with wonderful memories of Michael. If I offend anyone - let's remember my brother was the nice one.

"Mort" - how did that happen?

Everyone knows there comes a time in life when your mom makes you take your little brother with you no matter how much you beg and plea not to let that happen. Well Michael aka "Mort" happened.

To the Provencal Family: I am so sorry to hear of your recent loss. I did not know Michael but Don is my step father and has spoken kind words of Michael in the past. I know Don will miss him. Words cannot express my feelings to you all in the loss of a son, brother, nephew, uncle and family member. I only hope your memories of him in his life bring you all JOY in your hearts and comfort you now. There is no replacement but know he is in peace now.

Sincerely,
Lori Meads,

To the Provencal family...
I met Mort many years ago through Teresa Ritskowitz. I was fortunate enough to hang out with him at many backyard bbq's. He was a genuine guy who always had a smile on his face. He will be missed by so many people.
To his good friends Keath and Elia.. I am so sorry. Please know that I am keeping you and the Provencal family in my prayers.
Rest in peace Mort...

Love,
Kris Brady

I want to send my deepest heartfelt thanks to everyone who spents hours in the hospital with my family. And to all of you whom we missed. After such a sudden tradgedy I was unsure how I would be able to handle the wake and funeral. Needless to say with so much support and the wonderful stories about my little brother it became a beautiful tribute to such a nice person. Thank you for your support.
